- Log into your PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and go to the PlayStation®Store. Be sure you are signed into your PlayStation®Network account, or create a PlayStation Network account if you don't already have one.
- In the PlayStation Store, find Free Realms® in the "D-G" category under PS3™ Games or go to the search bar of the PlayStation Store and search "Free Realms".
- Select Free Realms: Basic Game and begin the download by pressing X . This download could take several minutes depending on your internet connection speed.
- The first installation of the game will begin automatically once the initial download is complete. Once this first install is completed, exit the PlayStation Store and return to your PS3 Menu.
- Find Free Realms in your Games folder on your PS3 Menu and select it. After you read and accept the Online User Agreement and Software License Agreement, the second installation of the game will begin. If you are a minor, please ask your parent or guardian to review and agree to these terms on your behalf. In this process, you will be downloading the current game features that have been released. Again, this download completion may vary based on your internet connection.
- Once the second installation is complete, you will be placed in game to create your character.
