It's easy to sign up for the Free Realms beta! All you have to do is register. You can find registration information at www.freerealms.com. Once you register, keep an eye on your (or your parent's) e-mail for a beta acceptance letter that will have a link that lets you log-in to Free Realms for the first time!

We'll start our beta testing slowly. After all, we're going to be fixing problems as people find them, and that can take a little time. If you register as a beta tester and you don't get accepted right away, don't worry! We'll be adding LOTS of beta testers over time, so you'll get your chance.

As a Free Realms beta tester, you're playing the game so you can give us feedback. What's great about Free Realms? What's not so great?

You're also playing the game to help us find "bugs," or mistakes that may be in the game. Some bugs are small, like a word being spelled incorrectly. Some bugs are big, like logging in to find your character doesn't have a head!

There's a little bug icon at the top right of the screen, so when you see something wrong, click on that bug and tell us about it. We also want you to tell us when something was disappointing or unfair because we want to make the game better. Some days we may even ask beta testers to play a very specific part of the game such as a mission or mini-game, because we really need to make sure every part of the game works right and is fun to play.

When you become a Free Realms beta tester, you get to play the game before the rest of the world because we're counting on you to help us make the game even better. That means you'll see all kinds of things before anyone else does. It will also give you an advantage when the game launches - you know where to go and what to do while everyone else is still going through the tutorial!

Even better, if you're accepted as a beta tester, you may have the opportunity to play the Member's Only content without paying for a membership. This means you may have access to the entire game world!

Once the game launches, any beta access you have to Members Only content will be restricted unless you become a member, so be sure to take advantage of it during beta!

During beta testing, we'll uncover problems that require us to reset characters. This might be just the clothing your character owns, your pet, your quests, or other items attached to your character. We may even need to erase your whole character from time to time.

We really want to get things right and make the game fun, but we also know you're spending time on your character. We'll make every effort to reset characters as infrequently as possible, and we're investigating ways to let you take parts of your character's setup into the launch game after beta.

When it's done! We don't have a date for the end of beta yet because we don't know what bugs you'll find when you get in the game. That's why beta testing is so important to us. We want the game to be in great shape before we show it to the world. We'll keep you updated as beta testing progresses. We're eager to launch the game, so trust us - when we have a launch date for Free Realms, we'll let the whole world know!

As a Free Realms beta tester, you can't talk about what you see as a tester. That means you can't chat about it with your friends, share screenshots or videos, or write about it in your blog or your favorite social networking site. It's important that we have the chance to fix things that are broken before the whole world sees them. Please help us out and don't talk about anything you see in the Free Realms beta test until beta testing ends. You can, however, direct your friends to www.freerealms.com so they can sign up to be a beta tester too!
